A vulnerability in the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) message handling process of Cisco TelePresence Video Communication Server (VCS) could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition. The vulnerability is due to incorrect processing of specific incoming SIP messages. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a malicious SIP message to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the device to stop processing VoIP calls. Cisco has released software updates that address this vulnerability. There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability.
