Cisco SD-WAN vEdge Routers Denial of Service Vulnerability

A vulnerability in the deep packet inspection (DPI) engine of Cisco SD-WAN vEdge Routers could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition on an affected device. The vulnerability is due to improper processing of FTP traffic. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted FTP packets through an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to make the device reboot continuously, causing a DoS condition. Cisco has released software updates that address this vulnerability. There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability.
